A cricket match was in progress between the Aussies & Indians at Wankhede Stadium.
Bal Thackrey was sitting in the balcony watching it. He's very happy that the Pakies are not there.
Suddenly Sachin hits a sixer to McGrath and the ball lands up just Next to Bal Thackrey's seat. McGrath shouts, 'Hey! Gimme the ball.'
Thackrey shouts back, 'Yey , Marathit bol.' (Eh Speak in Marathi)
McGrath doesn't understand a thing & repeats his statement. This gets The same reply from Thackrey.
Now, a security official standing at the Boundary goes to McGrath & tells him, 'Sir, He is Bal Thackrey.'
Now McGrath is excited, (he has heard about him) and calls out, 'HEYY! BALL TAK REY.' (also meaning "hey Throw the ball" in marathi)
Bal Thackrey is happy and throws the ball back to him.
Jai Maharashtra!!

Uddhav ji is very right in opposing Aussies entry in Mumbai and these Australians should not only banned playing in Maharashtra but in whole India. They have no right in killing innocent Indians in their country and then come India for earning money? No way, even if it is in the name of sports and if I am in power I will not allow them to put their dirty feet on our mother land. They are killing Indians for what? and what their country, police and common people are doing? we did not see any protest from common people nor any action from police. They are all against India and Indians so why should we allow them here. These Australians have dirtiest mind even worst than britishers believe it to me because I have worked these people in the past. To: mumbaihangout@yahoogroups.com Date: Sunday, January 24, 2010, 6:53 AM Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray has reiterated his party would not allow Australian cricketers to play in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL). He said the IPL organisers should be ashamed for inviting Australians to play here when Indians were being attacked in that country. Referring to party supremo Bal Thackeray's statement last week, Uddhav Thackeray said the party will abide by his directives and not allow Australian cricketers to play in the IPL.
Uddhav was speaking at Shanmukhanand Hall at a party programme to celebrate Bal Thackeray's 84th birthday on Saturday. In a statement in the party mouthpiece Saamna on January 13, Bal Thackeray warned that his party would not permit Australian cricketers to play in the city and the state and also rebuked the Indian cricketers for continuing to play with the Australians. "We shall not allow the Australian team to play in Mumbai and Maharashtra till the attacks on Indians in their land are stopped," he said. So politician playing for their careers again, if any such incident happen in India then after situation will be same like Pakistan where nobody wants to go and play cricket.Decide yourself that how much we all should tolerate politics of that kind.
