| Hi all, Adding to Context....Here is the latest idioticsm... A section of the Pakistani media is filing misleading reports about the hike in India's defence budget. Hours after Pranab Mukherjee announced a 34 percent increase in defence spending, Pakistani media have jumped the gun. Without going into the specifics, Pakistan media reports called the hike in India's defence budget a precursor to an arms race. But what the Pakistani media has failed to report is the fact that most of the budgetary increase will go into paying higher salaries and pension bills of the Indian armed forces.
