Deepawali is one of the most important festivals of India. Diwali festival is celebrated in all over India as well as in abroad with great joy. Deepavali falls on Ammavaasa in the month Kartik (a month in Hindu festival calendar) every year. The meaning of Deepavali is 'Rows of Light'.

Deepavali festival is celebrated in various forms in all over India. Diwali is a 5 days festival as Dhanteras, Choti Diwali, Badi (Main) Diwali, Padwa and Bhaiduj.

There are various legends and stories about Diwali festival. Bali, Emergence of Laxmi, Krisna Narakasur Fight, Victory of Rama over Ravana and many more. Diwali is festival of light, sweets and fireworks. Due to this Deepawali is a favorite festival of every child.
