How to apply Lipstick

 

 

# Always keep a lip brush handy � Lip brushes help to give a smooth lips and also assist in getting the last bit of lipstick out of the tube.

# Getting down to the wire? Mix with a little Vaseline � If you only have a little bit of lipstick left in the tube and it�s not easy to get out, get your lip brush and mix in with petroleum jelly to create a gloss.

# Avoid glossy colors if youre over 40- Creamier colors make women over 40 look more natural and younger. Plus older lips need more moisture.


For "plump" lips, apply liner just outside your natural lipline. Dab a bit of gloss in the middle of your bottom lip.

Defined lips are great, but make sure the liner matches the lipstick or gloss. Dark liner and light lips is tacky.

If you have big lips, use muted colours such as purples, browns and bronzes.

Golden blondes should use corals, apricots or peachy hues.

You might notice there's still a bit of lipstick down in the tube. Scrape out the last bits with a cotton swap or orange stick and mix it with Vaseline or lip gloss in a lipstick palette. Use a lip brush to apply.
