Kritarth Patel, Sejal, Nisha Parmarer, Chessil, Ajith, & few other MHO members,,
First, thanks for your great Informative e-mails. Especially Dewali related e-mails were VERY VERY informative.
5 Days of Diwali, Kali Choudas, Lakshmi Pooja, Great mail from Chessil. WOW !!!
People, I would not mind telling you my personal, problem was that I was NOT aware, "why I am celebrating Diwali". For me, Diwali means, Gujarati (families like ours) New Year, Fire Works in India, New Year Day right after Diwali day. This is a day when I have to get up way early in the morning to receive people coming to my home to say, SALMUBARAK, HAPPY NEW YEAR, NAVU YEAR SARAS THAO. Offer them sweet + few mare fancy stuff. I used to enjoy some sweets & some spicy poories (they are called something special but I do not remember the names).
I never remember, my parents explained me why we are celebrating Diwali, what are the meanings of days before & after Diwali. I remember, DHAN POOJA when we used to go see some business relatives used to do pooja of their business accounting books, silver, gold. WOW !!!! It was fun filled days.
Thanks to you smart & intelligent members of MHO for educating me (and Many other Silent members like me) with so many important things. Best thing I appreciate was, Sejal, Kritarth Patel, Nisha Paramer writing such a big explanation in a nonprofessional's language. This makes very easy for general population lime me to understand it & then cherish it. Now, I will able to explain other people our beautiful Indian festivals.
Please have my personal regards to all of you very smart people as well as your great loving parents who taughts such a beautiful things).
Thanks Boon for taking so much of your time to keep this MHO group clean, neat, as well as Full of Best Educating Resources
With regards,
Ajay Shah.
